Commentary by Eric Wilder – Today marks the end of the busiest year ever for storms in the Atlantic Ocean.  Marking this record year is newly-formed Tropical Storm Zeta that ties the record for the latest tropical storm formed in the Atlantic – fully thirty days after the official end of storm season – since record keeping began.
